Anti Social Behaviour Concern Update - Day of Action - A10 / M25 Underpass

Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents.

Day of Action - A10 / M25 Underpass

This afternoon, officers from the Bullsmoor and Enfield Lock Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) took part in a joint Day of Action alongside enforcement officers from Enfield Council to address ongoing issues of anti-social behaviour (ASB), vagrancy, and drug misuse in the A10 / M25 underpass area.
Upon attending the location, officers found no individuals present. However, a substantial amount of fly-tipping, discarded furniture, and makeshift items believed to have been used by rough sleepers and drug users were found at the site.
Enfield Council enforcement officers carried out a thorough clearance operation, removing all fly-tipped waste, furniture, and other discarded items. As a result, the area was completely cleaned and made safer for local residents and members of the public using the underpass.
Ward officers will continue to conduct regular patrols and monitor this location. Any incidents of anti-social behaviour, drug misuse, or other criminal activity identified in the area will be dealt with robustly to ensure the location remains safe and accessible for the community.

Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes.

Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website.
